Jet Sunny Co. ltd. established in 1988, was the very first skateboard shop opening in Taiwan – Jimi Skate Shop.
After taking over DC Shoes distribution in 1992, Jet Sunny has rapidly expanded into the largest and most well-known skateboarding distributor in Taiwan; carrying brands such as NATIVE, INCASE,KOMONO, OBEY, BRIXTON, etc…Overall, Jet Sunny distributes over 200 global street wear, skateboarding brands and manages 11 Department stores' counters and supplies over 300 channels throughout Taiwan.
In 2005, Jet Sunny began to host World Skateboarding Day. The date June 21st was selected in order to coordinate when American students begin their summer vacation allowing them to share their skateboarding lifestyle with the world.
In 2010, Jimi Skate shop moved to Zhongxiao East Road (underneath Xinsheng highway), near the hottest skateboarding spot in Taipei. In June of the same year, the two stores KREAM and FUNBOX merged to create a new style of skate shop, Jimi 2. These stores sought to promote and expand skateboarding with a kick of street style. Integrate the online and storefront promotions, Jet Sunny set up two online magazines, Slick Web Magazine and SK8.tw to provide more information for the latest trends in skateboarding fashion and culture.
The Jet Sunny team brings together individuals that love street wear and skateboarding, hoping to create a working environment where employees can enjoy their favorite hobbies and advance in their career.
